Classic Harbor Line
In 2014, Classic Harbor Line brought us aboard to assist its fleet of sailing vessels and motorized yachts in reaching a broader audience of vacation- and adventure-seekers. We created a robust brand guide and, using CHL’s flagship website as a foundation for growth, developed additional sites to increase visibility for the client’s locations in New York, Newport, Boston, and Key West.
As Classic Harbor Line expanded, it faced a need for a wider and more optimized web presence, new print marketing materials, and a streamlined booking system across multiple digital properties. Staffers also emphasized the need for an accessible, user-friendly solution that could be maintained and updated with minimal technical expertise.
optimized, integrated, and self-sustainable
In WordPress, we created custom templates and post types that could easily be replicated, empowering the CHL team with the tools for self-sustainability. We assembled integrations with MailChimp, digital marketing platforms, and FareHarbor — a third-party e-commerce ticketing system. Our design specialists also created a robust brand guide to enhance and standardize marketing efforts as CHL continued to expand.
Since partnering with CHL for its initial digital overhaul, we’ve maintained an ongoing relationship — providing the client with up-to-date web maintenance services, regular user training, and creative support for marketing campaigns.
In addition to our standard SEO analysis, our work focused heavily on local SEO — determining competitors by location, capitalizing on “near me” keyword searches, optimizing local directory inclusions (local citations), and refining placement on Google Maps.
We remain on call to provide creative support in marketing the client’s unique offering of ticketed cruises, tours, and private charters. Our designs range from classic advertising collateral (flyers, posters) to full-color trolley wraps, and more.
