PRI YEAR IN REVIEW

Reflections from our CEO

Wow, what a year! Looking back, I'm genuinely amazed by all we've achieved together. I want to thank each and every one of you. Your hard work and dedication played a crucial role in our new partnership with 1% for the Planet and getting PRI on the Inc. 5000 list for the second time (I'm still pinching myself). We launched an entirely new talent acquisition and staff augmentation service arm with PRI Talent, something we have been building towards for the last two years. It's a true privilege to work alongside such a passionate team and collaborate with our amazing, mission-driven clients. Their aspiration to make the world a better place fires us up, and with such a team behind them, I'm confident we'll keep finding solutions to the world's big challenges. Here's to an even brighter future together!

Warmly,
Chintan Parikh

From start to finish,
2023 was a year of triumphs

MARCH OF DIMES

Maternity Care Deserts Report

Our largest project launch of 2023 drew national attention!

Where You Live Matters: Maternity Care Deserts and the Crisis of Access and Equity is a set of 52 comprehensive reports examining factors that impact access to maternity care, health outcomes, and unique barriers for all families in each state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Since 2018, March of Dimes has published data on maternity care deserts across the U.S., highlighting areas with inequitable access to care providers and birthing facilities. These reports represent some of the most comprehensive analyses of its kind looking at maternity care access, examining data beyond maternity care deserts, and other key issues impacting access to care and maternal health outcomes.

“PRI was integral in the production of 52 supplemental Maternity Care Desert Reports (50 states, D.C., Puerto Rico), a new endeavor at the state/territory level for the March of Dimes. From infographic design and interactive maps, to state summaries and downloadable PDFs in both English and Spanish, all of the features that March of Dimes requested were implemented in a clear, comprehensive, and visually appealing manner by the team at PRI.”

NNPQC

Improving maternal
and infant health
outcomes

We helped the National Network of Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (NNPQC) expand its resources and support its mission to improve maternal and infant health outcomes using user-centered design and development practices.

After stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops, we transformed NNPQC's digital presence from a single webpage, into a dynamic, user-friendly website, emphasizing UX pathways for their three identified audience segments. Our team implemented an independent site management system and sophisticated information architecture, making it easily maintained and scalable post-engagement. We strategically developed gated content using the BuddyBoss platform, guiding content accessibility decisions.

Project highlights include impactful data visualization for allowing for more powerful digital storytelling, and an accessible brand color palette that enhances user engagement. These features paired with our efforts in audience matching and demographic analysis ensured the content's resonance with targeted user groups, significantly boosting NNPQC's online impact.

Included in the User Experience Overhaul:

  • Information Architecture Strategy & Development
  • Navigation Design
  • Stakeholder Interviews
  • Wireframing and Prototyping
  • Usability Testing

Playlist Pandemonium

We have a fun, weekly ritual at PRI: a vote on our next collaborative playlist theme! It's like our own musical potluck where everyone gets to bring their unique tastes to the table. We groove to the beats, discover unexpected earworms, and share some laughs over the stories behind our song choices.

In 2023 we've cooked up 61 playlists with over 300 hours of music! The highlight? Road Rage Against the Machine stole the show with the most votes for Best Playlist of 2023, with Disco Ain't Dead trailing close behind.
